About UCR
All motor carriers are required to file an annual application and pay an annual fee. Forms, contact information, and instructions on how to select your base state for filing can all be obtained online. The fee is a flat per carrier fee, can vary each year, and is determined by the number of commercial motor vehicles (including trailers) reported on the last MCS-150 form sent to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Fees can be paid using MasterCard, Visa, or an electronic e-check when you pay online. If you file in your base state, check with that state on what types of payment options they have available for you.
